The front TRD brake pads for a GTS should work fine on a GT, right? If so, will the pads work if the rest of the braking system is OEM?

I ordered a set of TRD brake pads from a Toyota dealer and just realized the parts guy screwed up. According to the parts number, it looks like he ordered the rear TRD brake pads, which are certainly useless to me... unless I convert my drums... which I probably won't do.

Any input would be great. Thanks.

i THINK the front brakes shouldnt be a problem, it should fit but check to be sure...take out your old one and compare to see if the fitment is correct or not.

As long as you don't have a 2000 GT (smaller calipers than other years), the GT-S front pads will fit fine.

I talked to the dealer and I also tried ordering from a place online and both said gts pads wouldnt work with the gt. I thought they would have but I didnt feel like messing with it anymore.

Well, it seems like a number of people are saying that it only doesn't fit with the 2000 Celica GT (according to some other posts and what Blue Bomber said in this post). So I'm going to give it a try as soon as I fix the order. If for some reason it doesn't work, I'll just find a GTS owner to sell it to.
