Pollen sucks, my car was spotless yesterday, now I have yellow polka-dots allover it. Do we really need pollen? No, I dont think so...screw bees and pollen producing plants. Damn yellow crap!

Car was covered with yellow spots so I took it to the car wash. Next morning, I found it covered again with pollen!

Same here. The stupid part is that my explorer parked one spot away isn't getting hit with pollen at all. Unfortunately I can't switch the two because of the bump into the driveway where the explorer is (think speed bump height but not rounded out).

That's why my baby is sitting in the garage for the next few days until this **** calms down. I just hope there aren't any trees growing on it when I take it out.

Yah, my driveway is right under one of the trees...it's awful. In addition to the pollen, I have all the little worm looking pollen things all over the car :werd:

Yeah it sucks and I am afraid we are going to have to wait more than a few days LOL to see it leave. It will more than likely be around for a couple of months.

I just washed my car yesterday and the pollen I saw today wasn't nearly as bad as the pound of bird crap sitting on my car after leaving it in parking lot while at work. IMO birds like to crap on white and black cars the most.

I did a bunch of searches and still dont know if I should buy the california car duster. I wish it had a non scratch guarantee or something.

Seems to me like the california car duster would still scratch your paint. I honestly do not see how it is any different than taking a wet or dry towel to your car. Anything that rubs against the surface of your car will leave some kind of marking.

The pollen isn't that bad here in Ohio yet, but I remember when I was at FT Lee, VA last year it was terrible. When ever the wind picked up, there was a cloud of yellow in the air. Never had so many problems with my allergies.

The car really is black, I swear to you. And that was maybe a day and a half worth of pollen.

Makes me glad we have enough room in the garage to use it for its intended purpose. :D

Seriously, though, a couple of weeks ago, it was *really* bad here in Houston. I live on a side street with a lot of large, mature trees and not much traffic. While the pollen was near its peak, we had a significant windstorm whip through here overnight last week.

The next morning, we look outside, and quite literally, there were sections of our street which were entirely covered by pollen -- you couldn't even *see* the asphalt on some stretches of the street.

Needless to say, it was a miserable few days for those who have terrible allergies.

California Car Duster is a good choice.......if you don't mind the paraffin streaks.
