who has this combo? and even if you don't, how will it sit? i want the fender gap to be very minimal.

the benefit you'll have with those tyres is maintaining the same rolling radius as stock - but i'd go for 40s rather than 35s (see picture). Speedometer will underread a fraction but you'll maintain stock ride quality.

i'll also have more gap w/ 35s than 40s correct?

hey i have the tein s techs, tokico shocks/struts, and 225/35/18's and i reduces the fender gap but it doesn't drop it really low, but the ride is great for a lowered car, i would say it sits it a little lower than the trd springs

The gap with 35s should be the same as with the stock rims/tires. but i'd go for 40s rather than 35s (see picture). Speedometer will underread a fraction but you'll maintain stock ride quality. I dunno about that. I can tell an extreme difference going from my stock rims to my 17s with 40s. Much firmer ride, but a bit less body roll.

215/35/18 will have exactly the same gap as a celica with stock wheels and tyres that has been lowered as blue bomber said.
the celica comes with 205/45/17 pirelli p-zero tyres when its new. i now have 225/40/18 toyo t1s tyres + lowered 30mm and the road noise has been reduced and its a more comfortable ride.
i saw a lexus sports car the other day in a dark blue colour. it must have been an import because i haven't seen one before. It had 17s then most of the wheel arch was filled with big fat tyres. Looked VERY smart. Not sure what it would look like on the celica though. I guess you'd need maybe 16s and big fat tyres.

I think the 215/35's look the best on 18's.
