to larryd and all the other administrators/moderators.
I think that turning off the post counts was a good idea. However, it was a nice filtering tools when I read posts. It's hard to keep track of who knows how much, and when there is a post that has 50 replies, it's nice to be able to go to the replies that are meaningful. My suggestion is to implement a user rating system, based on how much the user knows about the celica. Not how funny he is or how long he's been on the board, but how much information and help he can provide to the community. The users would be rated by the moderators and administrators. What do you guys think about that?
Second, i think that off topic should have a moderator. I said that when turning the post count was discussed, i thought it would have been better to just have someone moderate off topic to cut off the whoring. Chumpchiggy has been pretty much moderating it lately anyway, so why not make him the official moderator or someone else who would be reasonable about it?
Just a few thoughts.
