This year my wife and I have decided to go ahead and try out the two closest CenDiv events so we'll be going to the Columbus, OH July 20-21 and the Toledo, OH Sept. 1st events and trying it out.

I've already been told that one of the most important things is to register early so we are doing that this week but I'm wondering if there is anything else I should expect to be different from local events.

How do two day events work? Will I need to expect to be there for all of both days or will we run on only one of the days?

Will we see anyone else from this board at these events?

Check out the 2002 Subaru Cendiv Solo II Schedule (http://www.spec-rx7.org/~cashmo/cendiv/2002/2002.htm) and click on one of the first two event (Milwaukee or Rantoul). The schedules at both events are pretty much the way it works. You will run in one heat/group and work in another (like run 1/work 3 or run 2 work 4) there will be 3 to 5 runs each day depending on turnout. O expect I turnouts to be over 200 cars hell Milwaukee just had 250 Sunday and Chicago is full at 170 (with a wait list) for this Sunday.

You should register as early as posable (hotels too) and expect to be there all day. It's actually best to arrive the night before, register and get in a few course walks because doing it all on the morning of the event will get a little frantic. From the schedules above you'll see the days start early so be prepared to get up and get moving, at last years Rantoul event I changed my tires at 6:30 am and by 10 the street tires were back on. The run/work order varies from event to event.

I plan on attending the Milwaukee, Rantoul, BAX and Trump Casino events, plus the Tour and Divisional events at Grissom.
