FYI- This is for a '01 Honda Civic, I no longer own a Celica
Hello all, I recently (Monday) had an alarmed installed by a small shop nearby to me. I also installed a radio (Eclipse CD-3402) by myself. Earlier this morning I noticed it took a little longer to start the car up, but didn't really focus too much attention on it. As I was trying to leave later in the day the car wouldn't even turn over! Tried to jumpstart the car, but that didn't do any good as well.

I'm guessing the problem is either with the alarm or stereo using up all the power while the car is off. The stereo doesn't seem to be the curprit, I have the wire harness in front of me right now and everything is wired correctly. All colors match with the exception of the orange and orange/white wires. Car harness orange/white is for the dimmer while the radio harness orange/white is for illumination/dash light. This radio doesn't seem to have a dimmer so I didn't wire that.

Any help would be appreciated

Could be bad battery or bad alternator. Most likey it just needs a good charge. Between the alarm installers working on it & you... the dome light was probably on alot recently.

Thats one hell of a alarm if its killing our battery that fast. Does that thing constantly charge a shock field that zaps people touching your car? Hook up a voltmeter and see what your running. Get it into autozone for a free starting/charging diagnostic

Changed the battery and everything seems to working okay so far, I'll be turning it on every now and then to see how it goes. Thanks everyone.

Nevermind, the battery just died on me again, this time I jumped it and it's working fine again. I'm taking it back to where I got the alarm installed yesterday. My friend took a look at the car and said something about how the alarm is wired to the alternator and the battery like it should be.
