I just recentaly purchased 19" Racing Hart C2's with a 44 offset. I was wondering how much I could lower and how what kind of tires i would have to get to aviod rubbing.

Thanks
Matt

I personaly think 19's are too big for lots of reasons, but you can probably do ok with them. They'll slow you down, though. I think there's a tire size calculator that will help you with size.

http://www.newcelica.org/other/tires/tires.htm

Try to find something that closely matches the stock tire size, but for a 19" wheel. If you want to match the overall stock wheel diamater, expect that your side wall on your tires will be so small that you'll have to be really careful about pot holes, and you'll have a much bumpier ride.

As for lowering, that will depend on how much bigger a diamater you end up with over stock. If you hit the stock diamater, you'll be able to lower the car as much as anyone else, but if your bigger, then you'll have to cut that much out of your lowering potential.

O, and this might need to be put in the wheel and tire forum, not general disscution.
