View Full Version : Door speaker wiring

I have a GT and wanted to know if it's possible to install new component speakers with the factory wiring. I read on another thread that says that the woofer runs on another channel. Is there a crossover that can be bypassed in the door if that is the case? Basically I'm asking if I'll have to run wire from the head unit to the crossover or will I be able to use the factory wiring.

I personally run new wiring.

Me too!! Running 2 sets of 16ga Stinger HPM wire in through the door jambs was a PITA!!!
