What is this knocking noise?

Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and I find it very helpful. Well, I'm having problems with my Celica cuz there's a knocking noise occuring in the front passenger side coming from either my shocks or my coilovers. The knocking noise started happening after I installed the Tokico "blues" shocks. It only happens when I hit a bump and it's sooooo annoying! Any ideas what the problem can be?

yeah that happend to me it turned out the springs werent sitting properly , i had to remove them and re sit them , but its real simple.

recheck every bolt that you have to loosen when you take it apart. Seems to always happen with celicas. Especially check the bolt in the center of the strut.

i had this sound after my spring install, double check the little rod that connects from the sway bar to the hub, the one with the pivot joing that you have to tighten with 10mm open wrench and a allen.

make sure its as tight as possible.

Make sure the nut on top of the strut assembly is tight and didn't back off.

I've gotten knocking before from the end links being loose. Your noise will either come from there or from the top nut.
