Views on TRD Action Package

I Love that Kit. I agree how they come off the lot. Just get bigger wheels and lower it. I just got my mechanical bumper installed today, and it looks really good:). Now all I have to do is order my Kaminari race Wing and I'm set:).

personaly i loved the kit the first time i saw it in 2000 but couldn't afford a new car till now and since it was alot cheaper as an option i got the action package.

Plain? The bumper imo, is pretty aggressive looking. the sides and back are tame in a sense, compared to other kits.

I think it is alright but I would never want one because anyone & their mother can get the kit. I would never want to pull up next to some old lady with the same kit. That would be just embarassing. Toyota should have never offered this. I think the elegant kit looks so much nicer.

Well let me tell you this. I got the kit in the summer of 2000 from partznet.com. The real TRD kit. A couple of months later the action package comes out. You don't know how pissed I was. Sorry just venting.

Your average Jo Blow that buys the car with the Action Package leaves it the way it is for the most part. people like us will usually get new bigger wheels, lower it, add a hoodscoop and maybe swap out the wing for a different one;).

they should start from scratch like us normal 00-01 people.
the kit looks good though(lowered).
also people ask me if my kit is trd all the time and i get pissed at them...

theres too much action going on in that action package.... it looks like it wants to eat something... if ya'll like that more power to u... not to my taste. although, at certain angles, it looks quite nice.....i like WW or Kam kit.... flows well with the lines of the car, but what do i know? ;)

The Action Package is still weak.....the same thing happened to me...I got my WW kit on and then they decided to make the package available. x-evil said it best...."they should start from scratch" I know I have. let me say again "WEAK"

exactly the same dilema i went through.......

i got all the jdm TRD parts before the summer of 2000.....

then the action package comes out.... what the **** ? i just dropped nearly $6000 on bodykit... suspension.... exhaust....wing from TRD and now it is like a $1500 markup ? what the fu<k ?

and see.... i have rolled up next to some mofo that knew absolutely nothing about imports... just that it looked "sporty" is what he told me !!

yeah... i was pissed when toyota released 'em

and yeah... i still am pissed !!!

thats why i wann get rid of nearly every visual thing i have that is TRD.......
