check engine light problem

I have a Celica GT 2001. Recently I purchase the CAI AEM and installed it on January this year, no problem so far, until last week. The check engine light went on. I resset the computer and it went off. I have no idea what could have set it on. As far as I know the filter is well installed.
Anyone has an idea or info.......

It just happens sometimes. You're ok if it didn't come back on.

The same thing happened to me, and I think it was mainly because I haddn't reset the ECU since installing it. I also double checked the MAFS to make sure it had a good seal (just use a bit of clean oil as the seal).
