Bought a new indash DVD for cheap

I just bought a brand new in box Kenwood ddx8017 off ebay for $879.00. Other ebay auctions were for like 1100 so i think i got a pretty good deal. Crutchfield sells it for 1500. I paid with paypal too just in case its a scam so I can cancel payment.

Thats the plan. Hes supposed to ship this friday according to the ebay listing. Ive been waiting for kenwood to release this for a while now and then another while for it to start popping up on ebay. I was concerned about the feedback too but you gotta start somewhere. Hopefully it works out well.

I got scammed near Christmas last year. The seller had somehow frauded his feedback ratings: over 15000 +feedbacks, power seller rating, etc. Then come Christmas day when delivery was promised, the negative feedbacks start piling up one after another from other people who bought from this guy. Couple days later, his account is suspended. Couple weeks later, I get my money back.

i actually got my kenwood h/u (excelon 979) for 250 bucks, it was supposed to be 370 but he typoed it

he was nice enough to sell it for me that cheap tho, the next week, he corrected his mistake

YOU GOT OWNED! Look at the link again...the ebay seller was a scammer. People need to use common sense on ebay. I wouldnt buy any item of an ebayer worth more than 100 bucks if he had less than 15 feedback. And those feedbacks must be legit. Not a bunch of one cent ebooks. lol.

eh...i bought the c/f hatch cover back in december of 04' from topshop. they had like 13 positive feedbacks, and best yet, i've never heard of them. and yes, that hatch cover is in my car right now...

Im one of the bad feedbacks. I had looked at his recent buys and he paid for one of those buy car audio dirt cheap things so i figured maybe he was trying to start a business. Everyone has to start somewhere. I also didnt expect for him to just take the money and run. Seems a bit basic seeing as how he was a verified paypal member which means they had his bank account info. Im thinking it was a hijacked name or something. Either way I just bought another one from a guy with multi thousands of feedback and a 99 percent positive. Ive never had a problem with ebay before and Id have no problem using it again but every now and then I guess you get the douschebag.
