have u tried calling them? ATR hasn't been supportive with their own products. you are better off calling them personally than email

there are not many parts and figuring out where they is not the prob. its the lack of communication skills that the company has and the fact that some of the emanages they sent out were not preprogramed. and the drawing just about sums up the install guide

make sure you get your shops qoute on the price of the turbo install in writing or something because i can bet 100.00$ that they will want alot more then that qoute which on norm is 1,000 for a turbo install.... :funny:

Not to sure bout being beat by a turbo'd celica. At least the basic turbo kit ones. I am very interested to line up with one and see how it goes. I have drivin both and can say the sti takes off like a bat out hell. Hopefully once this guy who bought my turbo kit gets it installed we can test it out...

CAll them, i got an answer, their techs can either email your mechanic the install guide or fax it to them. Email them and they will answer or call them. oh yeah the number listed on their site isnt the correct atr support number switch the last 4 numbers...instead of 0083 i dial 8300...thats the correct number to call them at, someone will answer if u call during store hours. So THEIR REAL NUMBER IS 864-972-8300 not the number listed at http://www.atrimportmotorsports.com/store/ , try it i guarantee it will work. They can also fax or email u the install guide, just ask them.

hey GT_type_d doyou have an ATR kit, if you dont why do you care, we shouldn't have to have them fax the install instructions over they should have been sent with the turbo kit. sounds like you work for them and you are just trying to get ATR back into our good graces. But its gonna take alot more than that.

PRRedCelicaGT
08-26-2005, 05:58 AM

i just hope they didnt fax the instructions that they sent justin... cause they will think you r a joking..

cowman
08-26-2005, 07:09 AM
I sent doubles69 a PM asking if he had any problems with his install, and apart from his turbo seals leaking, he has had no other problems!!!! Hmmmm! He reckons ATR sent him out a replacement right away and that his kit is great! wot you guys think? think the 3 of us are going to have to help each other through this

lowredcruzr
08-26-2005, 07:12 AM
when my car gets back from paint i'm gonna try and install the kit and see how it goes. i would rather have the C2 kit but money if a factor at this point we'll see what happens. like i said before i'll make my own install guide for you all

PRRedCelicaGT
08-26-2005, 07:23 AM
yeap ive been talking with my friends and we r using c2 and sf instructions to come up with our own...i pm emotart and he is having problems with his kit too...i ask him about fitment and he says that fitment is $#@#@$#$@#..:furious:

DoubleS69
08-26-2005, 08:19 AM
At my earliest chance, I'll check with my installer and see if he can do anything about giving some tips on how it went for him. I knew he had a few minor issues with the fitment of the couplers but it was nothing major and was easily fixed.

Due to a really rough working schedule, I've still yet to be able to get my car dyno tuned and with more of our staff leaving every day, it doesn't look like I'm going to have a day off until September 7th at the earliest.

Once I get to that stage, I'll post my dyno and let you guys know if there are really any major problems with the kid aside from bad tuning.

No I don't work for ATR, and honestly if i would have known they would have given such horrible customer support like they did with me, i would have paid the extra money for a different turbo. So know i dont work for them, but i am just tryin to let u know the number on the website is wrong. and i posted it up there wrong as well, the only way u can really get some answers from atr is if you email them threatening to return the turbo kit. They will answer =) they answered me the same day. they actually CALLED trying to get me to not return it. sure there is a 15% restocking fee, but they would rather keep the 2600 dollars than having to return any of it, so call them up or email them a horrible letter saying u hate their support and u wanna return the kit, they will listen to you. thats really the only time anyone listens to you. Complain and they shall listen, ask nicely and they will only blow u off. So again, no i dont work for them, nor am i affiliated with them in any way. I'm just one of their angry customers. yes i have a ATR turbo kit, for my 03 GT. I'm gonna install it here soon and i hope it works great, because i dont want to go thru the hassel of returning it... (sorry i wrote a book)
