2200 lbs, mid-engine, rear wheel drive - do the math and this car should be fun. Let me say, it is. Once you feel the car rotating around itself you'll be hooked. I absolutely love this car and would not sell it under any other circumstances but, I've moved back into D.C. where its a burden to have one car, never mind two.
You'll be hard pressed to find an AW11 chassis anywhere, let alone one in this kind of shape. Very good condition outside and SPOTLESS inside, all original interior components - its like a Tie Fighter inside!
My improvements include a new timing belt/water pump, cold air intake, and a razo shift knob. Tires are Michelin Pilot all seasons in 14" with 80% tread left.
The car has 141,000 on it with the original engine - it pulls strong to the 7800 rpm red line every time. A note about this engine - its the 4AGE, a Toyota classic, equipped with TVIS - Toyota Variable Intake System, 16v DOHC 1.6L, making 115 hp. At this weight, the car has just the right amount of power and uses every pony, which is part of why this car is so fun to drive - it goes past the numbers and into the feel.
Due to the rarity of these cars and condition of mine, I'm asking $2000. Feel free to e-mail me ( marcus.kroll@gmail.com ) with any questions or if you want to stop by and look at it.
