gts muffler removal

can someone send me the complete instructions on removing stock muffler and installing trd muffler? thank alot.

I think you should let the dealer install the exhuast. Simply becuz they give you warranty and will not void your car warranty.

but dont they have to prove that the part was the cause of it? i think it'll be kinda hard to say that the exhaust was the cause of a hydrolock or misshift...

edit: oh yeah, to remove the stock just unbolt it and then remove them from the rubber hangers.

to install the TRD one just do the same thing, but TRD comes in 2 parts. i dont think it matters if you put them together or not before you install them to the car.

well according to toyota. cars with ANY aftermarket part that are NOT from TRD and/or NOT install by toyota tech. WILL VOID YOUR CAR WARRANTY

Not true, they have to proove that the part was the cause of the problem.
I had Nitrous, tach, AIM CAI, tower brace, backs seat removed, custom gauges and they paid for brand new motor and tranny.
I had to fight a bit though.
