how much hp/tq does the Canadian GTS with the 2.2l make?

There is no 2.2 litre motor in the Celica, except the older models. The seventh gen is that same as american, except with DRL's and are much better liked by the rest of the world:)

I read about the 2.2l Canadian gts on another website. After reading I went to the Canadian autotrader just to see for myself, and yep I found one 03 black automatic gts 2.2l. Anyway I was just wondering if Toyota upped the hp/tq on the 2.2l gts........Mike U.

Probably just a screwup, someone simply input the wrong displacement on the add.

Even if the engine was stroked, I don't think you could push it to 2.2.

mtrain2000, being from Canada I can tell you straight up, there is no 2.2L Celicas anywhere (7th GEN). The AD you saw obviously has a typo...actually alot of ads on CanadaTrader, BuySell etc have lots of typos and misinformation.

i believe both the 5th and 6th gen were the 5S-FE

He didn't say anything about displacement in his original post, therefore my original statement was correct. :rolleyes:
