i paid extra for the full thing...i think it was worth it..they told me my syncros wouldnt have been covered under the basic powertrain....idk if thats true though *shrug*...anyways it paid for itself already

Funny you mention that. I'm at over 95k and my 2nd catalytic converter just died. My celica is literally falling apart.

bought my car with 57800 on oct 31st
has 80,100(or so) 10 months later
2230 miles per month
that puts me at 191600 miles on the payoff date..lol(my se-r was nearly 4k upsidedown plus i got the premium warranty which should pay off since it doenst run out till july 06 unless i hit 100k)

the way i saw it id rather be stuck with a high mileage toyota then a high mileage nissan that had already went through one engine and was on its way to tranny trouble with only 12k of powertrain warranty left on it. plus it was auto. so far im right, my 80k celica is in better condition then the se-r was in at 30k (let alone 70k which is what it would have now)cept for some paint blemishes

My cats are still going strong - along w/ my brakes havent had a problem w/ them yet .
The only major problems iv had w/ my celica were things that i did to it .. other than the lift bolt. (misshift or tranny grind)

Im at 130 k and still going strong been boosted for over 70k miles now
