well i got a choice between a Celica and a Acura RSX type S, what is a better car? I know this is a celica forum but still. Also can you guys give me a forum for RSX only?

dx... you post a very good and very tough question... i am an acura dealer, so that makes the answer even more difficult... the rsx is definitely an awesome vehicle... the only bad thing i can say is that i dont like the body style... also... it hasnt been out long enought to prove itself... acuras, however, are generally known for their power and reliability... but, then look at the celica... its now in its 7th gen... proving that it is a car that will last... only problem is that it has 20 hp less than the acura... it all just comes down to your taste... the acura comes stock with every option for a pretty high price... 23k for the rsx... you have a little more choice with the celica... then youve got to look at aftermarket and repairs... there arent that many acura dealers in the country... do you have a good one in your area? i dont know... i love my celica... but i dont want to lead you down the wrong path... tough choice... i just think the rsx looks like an old geo... even after you lower it... they pretty much have the same engines, though... i could go on forever, but i wont... good luck

If they had RSX's when i bought my celica, i think i would have gone with an RSX. But at the time, only the celica was available. If I could go back, i'd probably get the RSX instead of the celica.

i know for sure rsx type s goes faster than celica about 2 secs or so

Ummm...2 sec at what, exactly?

Even C&D, with a messed up GT-S (early rev limiter) was 1.0 sec back 0-60 and .6 back in the 1/4.

On the same test, the Celica was much better than the RSX on the standard handling tests. It was about 1/2 sec slower on the road course they used than the RSX.

Net result: It's ALL THE DRIVER!!!!!! The car's are roughly equal.
