Does anyone feel weird when you take your car into the dealer for service & you get all these stares from everyone there?
I mean with all the mods that are on your car you attract tons of attention when you roll in. Especially if you go on a weekend because its a zoo. At least where I take it is. Just curious :wtf:

Same here when I went in for a warranty issue everyone in service came over. Some of the tech asked if they could sit in it. The dealership is huge so it is filled to capacity everyday. I just say it's a car but on the inside I'm like who is your daddy

the people at toyota hate my car. they complain when i bring it in. i just brought it to get the oil changed and the tensioner belt replaced and the guy said "how could you even hear the belt squeaking when the car is so loud" with a bad additude. grr. and they said it will take 6 to 8 weeks for them to see if they can pay for the neons they broke. oooh, there getting bad marks from me when i get the call from customer service.
heh, sorry just ranting

yah i get the looks too even though my stuff isnt super modded out...other day i went intot get my rattling checked which people have suggested was the pre-tensioner and belt tensioner.
So imagine my suprise when the old man "expert" comes over and is listening to it and cliams...oh thats normal..normal fuel injection.....
i stare at him with my jaw dropped for a second and now im talking to him like he has some sort of mental deficit or like how u may talk to someone whos really hard of hearing...
YOU CANT HEAR THAT RATTTLE...RIGHT THERE>>>and i point..hes like..well i have no CELEECA to compare it to...
so i say HAVE YOUUU EVER WORKKKED ON ONE BEFORE>..
he says I reckon i have..at that point i say...i think i will come back when you guys have a specialist here...so now i have an appointment a week from tomorrow.... what the hell.

I hate even going to the dealership. I have two in my city. The one I bought from also sells Lexis. So they really cater to the rich types more. Here I come in with my celi, i stand in line and they take two guys in suits that come in after me. Keep in mind I'm standing right at the freakin desk. I was wearing board shorts and a t-shirt no biggie just casual wear. The next time I went in I was wearing my army uniform and everything changed. Yes sir and No sir. It's Sargent dammit! LOL!

I hate the pr1cks at my local dealership. They never give me the time of day. In fact, i went in for the belt tensioner replacement and its been two weeks and still no parts. How long does it usually take for the parts to come in?

I goto Greenwich Toyota and I get mad attention. Everytime I go, the whole dealership come outside just to look at my car and ask questions. I get good attention and good service =)

My toyota is great, i have had some major work done...actually right now and the tech took my in the garage and showed my my engine in 1000 pieces, it was kinda cool, and kinda scary !! Whats wrong with altezzas? I had the 3rd gen carbon fiber and i think they look pretty tight.
