$9,000 MSRP
It is supposed to competed with the Kawi ZX-6RR. Slipper clutch. New frame. New engine, stroke is 2mm shorter. It revs to 17,500k. Probably puts out a couple extra HP over the 2005 model (which is being continued as a 2006 R6S without radial mounted calipers and inverted forks). The seat is over an inch taller, sucks to be you short people :D I don't really like the looks to much, the 2006 R1LE is nice though :)

I like the one with the undertail better. My next bike is going to be either R6 or 600RR

i've got an 04 600rr that i love but i think i'd let it got for an 06 r6 raven, that is one bad bitch, another thing they did, they droped about 14lbs in weight off the 06 model compared to the 05, bikes are just getting crazy. man i want one
And larry i remember when that happen, how was the swim
I think the YZF-600R is the prettiest Yamaha
in blue.

hawtness. yammers hit the nail on the head with this one. Very pretty....the pipe sucks, but that would be in the garbage as soon as it got home anyway. Why should manufact. waste the money on a nice stock pipe = )

Looks crazy but did they really need to make these bikes any more extreme?
Pretty soon they will have to stick rockets on bicycles to get any lighter or faster :)

If you don't keep up on motorcycle racing, you need to realize that there are alot of groups that require the motorcycles to be good like this stock. They make very little modification to them and the manufactures are the ones constantly improving on a yearly basis.

The new yamahas are freakin sweet.. they also released the ZX10r pics.. but when looking at them next to the yamahas.. its no contest as far as looks.. the yamahas are sweet lookin.. theres no denying that.. not to mention i'm sure both are too much bike for a squid like myself.. I'm enjoying my 01 F4i.. and perhaps in the future when I'm ready.. time to jump up to these bad boys..
my bike made me forget all about cars.. :)
