ok, i know most of the ppl here want thier car to handle better. so they adjust thier sus. to do so. but is there anyway to adjust it better for drag racing? as in 0 deg. toe or have 0 camber and so forth.
TIA,
Mike

I would go for a bit of negative camber to compensate for the droop of the front suspension. If possible add some anti-squat to the rear suspension and/or some anti-lift to the front suspension.

id go 0 camber and of couse 0 toe.
and a stiff rear suspension.

i was going to do that but my teacher said that it would cause the car to want to turn. is this true? - as for having 0 camber and 0 toe on the rear?
TIA,
Mike

the rear really dosnt make a difference when draging. it would probably be easier to just run stock camber on the rear with no toe.
as for the turning thing, i have no clue.

I'd say run 0 camber up front. You can also buy offset bushings for the rear lower control arm mounting location that will give you more caster, which will have an anti-lift effect.

caster will not give you a anti lift effect, the angle of the lower a-arm from horizontal will givey ou anti/pro-lift depending on the direction of angle. Go with 0 toe and some rear camber to minimize rolling resistance losses. I would have some (about -.5 deg) front camber to compensate for the pitch.
If you have adjustable shocks I would play with the front rebound and rear compression settings.

ok, i did my rear adj. yesterday. i have -.4 camber and 0 toe in the rear. i have it raised about 1/2inch higher on rear and all the way stiff.
on the front i have it on 1/2 way stiff and that seems to be working good with my launch. i went all stiff on my tiens and got a lot of wheel hop. i couldnt adj my front but i should be getting my c-one camber adj on thurs or fri.
would you guys think something like the hotchiks comp sways would help in drag?
TIA,
Mike

How so? The increased caster angle will cause more of the force to be directed horizontally and absorbed by the chassis, rather than acting vertically and lifting the car.
Also, I like to jack up the rear of the car for the strip to place more weight on the front.
