Question about STS Class

I will be running in the STS Class when I stat auto X. I was told I can run with my TRD Rear Strut bar and others on this board have done this. Am I allowed to run in STS with the bar?

The TRD rear strut brace is NOT legal for STS because it's a 3 point bar. Only 2 point top to top or bottom to bottom bars are allowed. That said, for local competition, it shouldn't be an issue unless the locals are d*cks or you start winning the class.

I don't see anything else in your sig that would be a problem in STS.

It's easy to remove the lower two bolts, effectively making it a 2 point bar.

Its not legal but I have seen Larry and Eric run with the TRD strut bar in

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you start winning. One of our guys ran with the TRD rear strut bar all last year without complaints from other drivers in STS.

Well my car has 256 runs on it and it's not bent yet.

I lost count last year at over 350.

This year has only seen 2 evolution schools and maybe 50 to 60 runs...

With the number of events pitcrew and "driver" attend, they will pass us all by mid summer!

Ohh...missing out man. You should really look into that. There was a guy in our group yesterday that has autoxed for 14 years and he learned just as much as the guy that had never seen an autox course before.
