Well, I was looking through some old sites in my favorite folder and found this Carson dealer site. I browsed a little bit and found this JDM steering wheel for only $360 ---> http://www.newtoyotaparts.com/product/?id=1257 and was wondering if anybody has come across this or what? I've been wanting a JDM wheel and now is the chance, but I guess I need to call and found out if this is for real. I know they usually go for like $800 or $900, right? input would be nice. :popcorn:

found the TRD wheel also http://www.newtoyotaparts.com/product/?id=662 ... I guess I got this confused with the oem one.... umm.. i like the oem one a lot though especially since my car is silver... suggestions?

i think the TRD one was the one going for $6-800. i like the TRD over the JDM.

TRD all black wheel is very tempting... It's been my favorite for some time


don't they make one in silver also?? that is why i like the JDM one, because of the silver.

you can have oem wrapped in a different color and call it jdm lol. there really is no different bt the two except black oem and coor jdm. cheaper to get it wrapped

THe one that is $360 is the OEM wheel with a different colored leather on it, the 1st link at the top of the page.

The TRD one is nice, but I don't think I can ever convince myself to pay that much for a steering wheel.

Yeah I've seen their site before. I've been meaning to order some stuff from them for a while now, but then I remembered that I'm broke. The TRD wheel comes with an airbag. If you think about it, that's really not a lot of money for a wheel plus an airbag. What I don't get is that it says for off road use only. :wtf:

Are there any recommendations for a shop that does this? Or can I go to any place that re-upholsters car stuff like seats/interior to have it done? It is definately cheaper to just have them wrapped two tone. Good idea, plus just slap on the TRD horn button on there. :chuckles:
