Ok so I have A 2000 GT and put an AEM cool air intake in it. It sounds bad ass but its only the beginning of more to come. What should I do from here? I want a turbo but the 3-4 thousand dollar bill sounds like itll kick my ass. An exhaust system sounds good too. I mean I know I cant go wrong with either but can anyone find a deal for me or tell me how to get the best performance parts for my money? I want to start tearing the street up but my stock celica with its intake isnt going to throw dust. Its a start but Im ready for phase two. Help me out.
TRD exhaust. I have it on my 2002 GT, I love it. GT really will never be too fast without FI, but I still love it.

Welcome
you're wasting your money on anything other than a turbo on a GT.
you've already wasted your money if you plan on getting a turbo, cuz you'll just have to get rid of the intake for the turbo setup.

Because you aren't going to be using a cold air intake with a turbo setup. You'll be using some type of intercooler.

I wouldn't say that the money is being 'wasted,' but you get more power/dollar with a turbo setup.

ok so a turbo kit kicks out the intake...i can sell it since its like new i mean i know its not gonna be full price. How much is the turbo? Its like 3999 or somethin right? Anyone know anywhere to get a deal on one? If car stuff didnt cost so much....the whole world would be racing....

c2power. you won't get a special deal or anything, but it's the best turbo system out for our cars.

You are going to need to do a little research before you get in on turbo systems. It's not like a $3999 part that you bolt on in your garage and have an instant 100 more horsepower. It's going to be around $6k all said and done (installation, parts, tuning) and lots of time. It also requires a lot of knowledge.
