have you ever heard of someone stealing wheels that have wheel locks on them without the wheel lock key? just wanted to know how much they reduce the chance of them being stolen.

If someone wants your sh!t badly enough they are going to take it. Most wheen locks are just stupid specially shaped lugs. Get ones that actually require a key like on the older Porsches. I know for sure the '87 Porsche's have them but I'm not sure about the new ones. Look around for them.....

Just get 4 different sets of wheel locks if you're super paranoid like me. :D

Oh and you should get autolock too. I heard it is way better than the club since it can't be sawed off cuz its bullet proof. I think it goes around ur clutch or brake pedal and is prob way safer than the club since the sterring wheel can be sawed off and such. I heard its a krazy biatch to put on but if it stops potential thieves from jacking your car, its worth it no? Get it at www.autolock.com

I got different locks on each of my wheels...a pain to take out but its worth it....but regardless if someone wants your wheels bad enough they'll get them, there is a tool to take locks/lugs out without a key/lug wrench....

is getting 4 different wheel locks worth it? How do crooks bypass the wheel locks? I thought they jsut sued a tool that grabs ahold of the outside of the lock with some teeth and screws it out. If that is the case it won't matter what design wheel lock you have. But I could be wrong. Does anyone else know how they break the locks?

Yeah, its just a lug nut.

A wheel lock lug nut is just a funny shape so a regular socket wont fit over it. Instead, they have a special shaped key(a special socket) that you need to unscrew the lugnuts

I agree that if some one wants you stuff bad enough they are going to steal it no matter what, but at the same time, I have never heard of anyone haveing their wheels stolen when they had wheel locks on them.
