So i was thinkin about the ecu sensor wires and i figured what happens if i trick the ecu into thinking that the engine is at a lower rpm then what its actually running at that way i can rev past my redline/fuel cut off? I was thinking about clipping the rpm wire to the ecu and leaving it off to see if it works, but since the ecu is smart and overides the safc2 and stuff...what if i just limit down the signal instead of clipping it? like place a resistor that way i could be revvin at like 7.5 but the ecu reads 6 or something?

Is this possible cause im really interested into doing this to my ecu instead of buying the pcf. THanks

no one can answer this question?! or at least give me some kinda info before i mess with the ecu at least?

That i know of c2gas changed two crystals on his ecu to remove his revlimiter maybe it still there but to high for him to find it, but remember if you forget to shift say good bye to your valve etc.

I think the ECU will sense a mod or cut line to the RPM and fuel cut earlier and do all kinds of other weird things. So be careful.

Just dump a can of gas under the hood of your car and light a match. That's sure to take care of the rev limiter

i got it to work thanks...love the pitch of the engine...stock components so ima keep away from 7.5k rpm unless needed to beat someone thanks alot for the info

You do the crystal method?

yeah...messed with that a few times...no problems yet though...

Is there a write up anywhere?

not really just find your ecu remove it and change the crystals inside...there should be two 16hrz change them to 18hrz and you should be fine
