is it possible to hook up a portable mp3 player (like a ipod) to our factory deck? that way it still looks stock, but will be able to play a zillion songs... I'm wondering about this cos the city I live has a high car-break in rate.

There are adapters made by various manufacturer's that will hook to the factory radio and replicate the inputs for an MP3 player as being a CD deck.

Or you can get the Griffin iTrip and broadcast to an FM channel. Obviously, the sound quality won't be as good as a direct-wire connection such as tape deck or aux input. But with the factory H.U., an aux input is sort of hard to get, unless you get a product 2way was talking about.
