Ok, from what i understand, weight reduction on the wheels will have more effect on the car's performance than just regular wieght reduction on the rest of the car. I was told that it has something to do with the fact that the rim weight is rotational wieght and because of that it has more effect. Am i correct? I don't want to get in to too much of a physics discussion, but i just want to know what i'm talking when i'm trying to explain all of this to my parents when i get my new rims.
