In the case that there's someone from Idaho on this board (show your face!), here's a little something from spaldam:

Ok, here's the schedule for the next three weeks:

13th - from 10 am to 4 pm is a test & tune. I'll be there to get some practice in. Admission is $5 for spectators.

20th - from 9 am till when ever they're done. I suspect they'll do time trials for a few hours, then start racing that afternoon. This should be a fun event to see with all the fast imports that will be there. Again, I'll be competing, but don't expect to win anything. Admission is $5 for spectators.

26th - is the first regular race of the season.
The normal times for these type of events, are 4 pm for time trials then at 7 pm they start the elimination rounds, and are usually finishing up between 10 and 11 pm.
Spectator admission for these types of events is $10 per adult or $5 for youth.
There will be a total of 13 of these type of evens - about two a month, for the entire season that ends on Sept. 13th (ooh... Friday the 13th).
For more information and other scheduled events, you can check out www.rmrracing.com

If you want to be a competitor in these events, there's a $20 registration fee for the season, then you have to pay for each event you compete in, and I believe it's $30 per event.

October 10-13th - there's a regional event in Fallon, NV (approximately 80 miles from Reno) that I may or may not attend. I went to this last year (in Las Vegas), and was board most the time, but I think that if I can get some of my friends to come along to keep me entertained between races, then it might be worth going again (especially if we can get a trailer that we can camp out in at the track).

As a side note, if you know of any local businesses that would be interested in sponsoring me, let me know.

Thanks, and have a great day.
