I just put on my new hood and the left side sits flush with the fender and headlight but the right side is above the fender by about 1/8" heres a pic to show you. http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/17834hood_018-med.jpg

Is there any way to fix this? maybe put spacers on the left side?

Instead of making the left side look as crap as the right side, return the hood and get something that fits your car.

try moving the ajustable stops on that side. (some people call them hood bumpers)move it down some, that may help, but it looks like your hood is bowed.

edit: the ajustable stops are located on the stock hood there are 4 total. on each side there is one that touches near the strut towers, and one on the front that contacts the holes that are in the engine plastics near the radiator.

here is another way to do this, you can use hood pins and make the stud sit lower on the left, hence the pins will force the hood down further...

i kinda had it on an angle during transport, could i have warped it like that?, maybe i should just set it out and put some gentle weight on it to even it out again..

The hood pin trick worked, its not off by much really, I just set the right hood pin a tad lower

The hood is warped, good to hear that you temporarily fixed the problem.

My C-One hood has the same problem, believe it or not. I feel that it warped during shipping. It's not so noticeable to other unless I point it out, but I notice it, and it bothers the hell out of me. Especially after I saw SLOWICA's hood fit perfectly when I was at HIN this weekend.

just the slight pressure on the front fixes it. So it wouldn't be noticable unless the hoodpins wernt being used. Actually I started saving for the C-One hood because I assured myself that the fitment would be 110% absolutley perfect for $1200

Right, I know if I used hood pins it would fix the problem. I feel that my alarm switch is what's causing the problem. I don't know about you, but my factory Toyota alarm has a push switch (not sure if that's what it's called) mounted on the driver side fender that gets pushed down when the hood closes. Now that I have a lighter hood, the push switch is stronger and doesn't go all the way down when the hood is closed. As a matter of fact, when I push the hood down on that side, I hear the squeak from the switch going up and down. I'll try removing it and see what happens.
