It seems like very often there are threads posted requesting pictures of everyone's trunk setups.. and I think people get tired of posting and reposting their pics again and again. So, i created this thread with the sole purpose of showing off your trunk. So, go ahead and let's see those boxes ;)

Please be aware that the purpose of this thread is solely to display pics of setups.. so please use this thread ONLY to post pics of your setup.. NOT TO FACILITATE DISCUSSION. :) If ya do, I'm just going to go ahead and delete it.

TURN OFF your sigs in this thread. If you do not turn off your sig in your post, I will DELETE the post.

Sorry, but I have edited 90 percent of the posts in this thread from people who neglected to do this simple task and I'm not going to do it anymore :) This helps out the 56k users and keeps the thread much cleaner. Thank you.

heres my girls trunk, all the carpeting is black light sensitive and there are black lights hidden throughout the trucnk so in the dark the carpet gives a 3d effect, the rest of the stuff is painted to match the car, the amps, and all silver trim panels, the blank piece of plexi on the right was recently engraved and says " female owned & operated "

Just installed my system. Best of all, I have pics! It's all Pioneer, and I bought the Euro Single DIN from eBay. Apparently he is on this forum, but I am unsure of his name. He's an awesome dealer though. Whoever reads this post and knows who he is, shoot me a PM so I can give him credit. Anyway; here are the pics.


This is of the Single DIN, fits perfectly. Will be painting the whole middle pieces soon so everything matches. It's still awesome though.

Thought I'd post my setup. I basically bought the car this way except, I had to install the subs and the black RF amp. It's got a Kenwood in dash and screens in the back of the driver and passenger seats. It's also got another Sony deck below the in-dash DVD that comes with wireless earphones. A lot of nice setups in here. The problem I have is that I *really* need my trunk space because I cart stuff around a lot. Additionally, mounting stuff on the back of the seat (or against it) is out of the question because I regularly need to put the rear seats down to fit large objects. Still though, I listen to a lot of techno/house/drum & bass so I wanted a little more thump. Heres what the guys at the local audio shop and I came up with, I am very happy with it.

My phone sucks so they are bad quality. I had all the work performed by Soundwerks in Scottsdale, AZ. They are top quality and Don, the owner, is really awesome.

We decided to use the right side of the trunk for several reasons. First, there is actually more space on the right. Second, the left side has the access panel for the jack in the event of a flat tire, as well as the other tools under the rug. I'm wanted an efficient set up.

The only problem is the light is on the right side. Well, problem solved:

Here's the setup I build last fall.

Modeled it in SolidWorks first to check dimensions and find the volume of each side of the box.

From the drawings of the model I made the box from 3/4" MDF:
