differences in engines?

What are the differences between the celica GT's made in 2000 , 01, 02, etc.. as far as the engines go?

umm..i don't have gts, but all i remember is that rev limit's changed a bunch..and driveby wire's gay.

00 and 01 is the best year for the GTS (performance wise), 02 and up they lowered the rev limiter 7000 sumtin, 00 - 01 is 8350 RPM. Also 02 ^ used Driveby wire..

00 - 01 The Lift bolt is tends to break for this year, chaging them is a must.

There was no differences in the GT that i know of.

the gts however there were. The 02 does not have drive by wire. That was 03. The Rev limiter changed in 02 to 7800 where in 00,01,03,04 its 8300. But i believe it went back to 7800 in 05

ok thanks a bunch.. cuz someone told me that the engine in my car [2000] was completely different then the 01 and up.. and i was just making sure he was wrong.. he said sumthin stupid like i only had a single cam motor and after 2000 they started makin them duel.. so i had to find an engine from a 01 and up
