Can I put in two single DIN radio units?

I was wondering if anyone has ever successfully managed to install two single DIN radios in the factory location. I was looking at getting an equalizer that was a full DIN in size and I was hoping I could put it below my head unit in the normal radio location.

Is this possible? If not easily, is there a way of modifying it to fit? Thanks!

nope its only a din and a half. You can out it in there if you wanna cut your dash up.. prolly wont look right

It is possible without modification, just use stock mounting brackets and buy the scosche side fillers. We do have a double din not 1.5 din.

i would just put the eq in the pocket up top!!! that way you can hide it

Silly, that's where the tv screen will be going at some point. ;)

Any idea what these are called (the official name so I can search for them, or if you have a link directly)? I have the Metra installation kit, but can't seem to find the side fillers for Celica's (and if it makes a difference, mine's an '03).

I got Double din and yes it will fit but I need that Metra installation mold to make it look nice.

It's a Scosche Double Din Kit Part# TA1465B. For some reason it's no longer on their site, it took the shop 2 weeks to get it in when I ordered one.

our cars arent true double dins.... go try to buy a TRUE double din bet it wont fit... trust me I bought a flip out and then a dvd player both single dins.. only one would fit. so I put the dvd in the glove box.

Have a double din tv in mine right now, and also have personally seen two decks (alpine cda-9835 and an alpine dva-5205) installed without modification using stock brackets and scosche side fillers. Sometimes cheaper brands claim to be single din but are larger. If you use stock brackets two decks fit just fine.

you can fit 2 single din units in the stock location, it FITS!! i had a flip out screen and dvd unit in my car, both single dins. you just have to buy the fillers. i believe toyota also sells these fillers as well.
