How do I go about creating a custom subwoofer enclosure. Basically I have an empty trunk, nothing in it at all. So i have all that room to work with. I want to create a subwoofer enclosure that blends into the car. I want it fiberglassed and painted the same color as my exterior car. I dont want a box that just sits in my trunk I want it to actually be a part of my car, where it is not removable. with the subs stuck into the enclosure along with the amps. How would I go about getting the materials, such as what kind of wood i need, where to get the fiberglassing material, cloth, etc. I'm sure their is a site out there where i can order a fiberglassing kit or something to turn the subwoofer from wood to fiberglass. If somebody could help me out with this. PerionGraphix@hotmail.com or just post on here. Thanks a lot.

Don't mean to sound like a smart a##, but it sounds like you don't know enough of the basics to even attemp this yourself. If you want it to look good, have someone do it for you, but watch how it's done and ask questions. Next time you want to attemp a project like this, you'll have the know how and a general direction of how to go about doing it.

First you'll need this site: http://web.njit.edu/~cas1383/proj/main/
Secondly you'll need a lot of time and a lot of patience. Time for making the whole thing and reading up on how to do it properly. Patience for when you screw it up really bad and get pissed off (like I have done).
There are other tutorials out there for fiberglassing, some that you can purchase dvd's of. Check ebay, check google, and before you buy ANYTHING read as much about it as you can. It's very easy to spend a ton of money on supplies and get the wrong stuff, then turn around and screw up the process by drooling fiberglass all over the inside of your car.
Good luck!
