Need Help with Install Fuel Pump Kill Switch

Hi, i want to put a fuel pump kill switch on my 2000 celica GTS. Does anyone have any idea on how to do this, and the parts i will need. Also does anyone know if this can do any harm to the car.

Well.... not hard to do.... but why?

To do... you just have to interrupt the relay in the fuel pump control circuit.
Harm to the car? Dunno... but it might cause you some problems with pressure regulator or having to bleed the system? Shouldn't be any different than running out of gas.

where is the fuel pump located and what wire will i need to put the switch on? i know where i want to put the switch but i need to locate the fuel pump and know which wire i need. please help and thanks

Pump is under the back seats.. do some research. there's a thread and info lying around somewhere.

Theres a guide in the repair section on how to replace fuel filter it has a video and everything. This will show you how to get to fuel pump. But if you're doing this to prevent your car from being stolen there are easier ways to make kill switches.

i hear that the fuel pump was the best way so ima do that.
