i'm not too sure if any of you guys know this but there is ANOTHER storm that is hitting the gulf coast area and is expected to hit the TX area this time around. its the 3rd highest storm EVER recorded and now has reached a top speed of 175mph winds :faint: (catagory 5 is 150mph+)
since TX area is one of the biggest US oil produces, CNN is reporting that gas prices will rise AGAIN. it will hit the $5+ mark in/around the NY area.
so fill up ur tanks ASAP. this is becoming creazy :bang:
the storm is going to hit late tomorrow night/early friday morning

this might keep me away from mass. on the 8th guys  im gonna be tight with $ b/c of moving into the new apartment...

I only put 15 in yesterday when gas was 2.86. With all these gas prices now makes me wanna get a hybrid in a way. Hopefully The oil things can take the hit since they said they were rated for a category 3 storm.

No you dont. It sucks here. I cant wait till i move down to Georgia where the gass will be a little bit cheaper. I just filled my tank up yesterday with Premium for 2.80. Cost me about 25 bucks though so i wasnt in that much of a hissy fit cause of it.

It's no better there either, trust me on that.
If this thing hits anything as hard as Katrina did, we're going to be paying $5 easy for regular. If that's the case, I ain't driving until we reach sane levels again. So long as the LIRR keeps running, I can get to work, which is really all that matters for me. I guess we'll find out 24 hours from now.

Only two refineries were hit. Even so, I'm surprised gas prices weren't affected.
