Fake GT-S on Long Island

there's a red GT with GT-S badging.

how do i know??

I have seen the car in a parking lot and looked at it closer. First thing it has rear drums. it has gt rims but i know there a option.
It has the 2 color seats, gt's only have them. it has gt exhaust.


well this gril lives near me and she was down at dpa last nite. I asked her if it was a gt , she said no it was gt-s and it's a 2000, i tried to race her but she did't want to race me :( i guess she was afraid to lose.

her liscence plate even syas "try2race" or something like that :D
and it has a black bra on the front.

so i kept driving by and reving and doing a fly by untill she got pissed and started screaming at me:) god this girl is ugly! :)

so if you see her try to race her and tell her she has a gt :)

is it an auto GT? that would be even worse. it's one thing if it's a 14 second GT like Maelfyn... :)

Just so you know, it may still be a GT-S. When I bought mine in 2000, I had the option to get a GT-S without Sunroof/leather and the GT-S rims. So I could have gotten a hardtop 2 tone cloth and 15's. Not sure on what kind of exhaust I would have gotten with it???

Thats why this boy's going all show with a lil performance. Got a GT... AUTO * winces in agony * I wanna get a conversion but with all the mods I've done to the car, I dont think the dealer will let me trade it.

yea i know some things are options but the gt-s dosen't come with rear drum. thats the only thing thats giving it away. I havn't looked inside yet so i9 don't know what kind of trany it has.



anyway i have raced her long time ago and have won many times.
she got her's pretty much the same time i got mine. and i saw the gt badge on it :)

GTS has the speedo top at 160mph, GT goes to 140mph. thats something you can look at unless the tint is too dark.

On the contrary, I have a GT AUTO * cringes * but hmm my gauge says 160, why?

Cuz last year before I found GT guages, the GTS came out and I bought them. So hmm ya. Guages could also decieve.

MK2s never will go out of style. Wish they would have kept making them.

Now they make the MR2Spyder. It's not a Turbo model like the MKii gen's, but they are coming out with the V-6 (Camary motor) and there is already a SC for that :D

:wave: Yup, that was me allright :rofl: It wasn't even really a race, I don't think she was trying very hard. Surprising given the plate and all... maybe it's short for "Try and race, you'll be surprised by how easily you beat me" :D I have seen her at DPA a couple of times in the past few months... maybe I should get next to her at a light and pass her a note that says "check out the forums at www.newcelica.org" :rofl:
