How do you go about getting your oil changed with the underpanel installed? Do you have to remove the underpanel each time, or is there another way? Thanks!

...I am expecting mine to come in any day now.. Actually was expecting it this week, but oh well. I hadn't even really thought about that, but it's a good question. I'm now wondering the same thing..

I think its held in by brackets hat are mounted onto the car then 6 bolts hold the panel to the brackets which are easy to remove.

Who did you purchase the underpanel from? Just want to make sure that some of our dealers are treating you well.

yeah, you remove it each time. theres a little hole where the oil could drain out of, but i think it would make a mess.

Removing it via the brackets that mount the underpanel to the chassis? Or removing it via the panel from the brackets? I hope that makes sense. How many bolts have to be taken off? Thanks.

the brackets dont come off.

take 4 hex bolts off that attach to the two front brackets and two hex bolts that attach to the rear two brackets. the pannel comes off and the brackets stay bolted to the car.

ive done two oil changes since i got my underpannel and it keeps getting easier.

make sense?

They are held on by 4 Hex bolts, and u have to take them off anyway, if you change the oil filter everytime u change the oil like I do... 20-25 mins job..

just be careful... i put mine hex bolts on too tight and almost stripped one, so now i have to be careful.. just remember not TOO tight, but tight enough so they don't shake loose from vibrations... very nice piece though
