I never paid much attention to the nosies that go on under the hood of my car. But just today as I opened the door before I turned the car off I noticed something. It sounded like a clicking....then it went away as the car started to cool down more. I let it go, went and got gas and this time opened the hood to hear the noise. It's not a rock tumbling noise, I have no squealing or anything, it just sounds like a clicking or something in the engine. I wasn't sure what exactly our cars sound like idle like that so I am not sure if this is a problem or me worrying ( it's probably the latter of the two but hey) If anyone cah help that would be great.
Thanks
Jarrett

Yeah, just about everyone has it. Supposedly the valves or injectors working or something. As long as your car is idling fine, there's no problem. If it's idling really rough all the time, you may have bent valves.

Just the valves tapping. Totally normal.

Thanks guys....I use 89 octane gas in my car by the way Yoshi. My engine coolant was low and I put some in there and the car runs and feels a lot better now. It was real low and when I get my oil changed they don't think to fill that b/c it is under that cover thing. But it's all good now, thanks again.
