C-ONE V2 hood pics

I've gotten a couple of requests for a larger pic of my sig. Well I didn't know exactly where to post it, but I somehow figure this would be the right place. :gap:

I have a slight gap problem on my driver side, near the fender and above the headlamp. The hood is raised a few millimeters above the fender and headlamp, while the passenger side is a few mm's below the fender. I think the hood warped a bit during shipping. It's not that noticeable though. No one ever pointed it out except me. Hood pins would fix it easily, but I don't want to go that route.

I've driven to Florida and back with the hood on, hitting speeds in excess of 110mph, and I never once felt that it was going to fly off or something. It's more stable than my stock hood with C-one scoop combo did. Overall, I'm happy with it.

It was a little tough getting out of that spot in the pic above. But later on while driving on the strip, I got stuck pretty bad. It was such a bad sand trap that the 4x4 in front of me got stuck as well. The sand was up above the lip on the front, and 3/4 of my passenger wheel was buried. I got pulled out 15 minutes later by beach patrol, they say it happens all the time, haha.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, sand is worse than snow by far. Because with snow, you eventually will hit pavement, but with sand, the more you floor it, the deeper you get. And it's not like you can dig your way out either. Thank God for the rear tow hook. :D

yeah, im still in the process of getting the money... plus i just got back from a exercise in Thailand..... army is keeping me busy lately... hopefully soon though.... im tired of looking at my car with no kit :sadwave:..... but im also going to be getting a g35 next year or so, so im kind of done with spending money after this.... i want that new gt-r!!!! but at 70g's.. umm.... maybe after my next deployment to the sandbox :bang:

Haha, thanks bro. I should say the same about you, I have yet to see a pic of your car in direct sunlight. I love that paintjob and your car looks really clean. I almost bought those exact same rims too, before I decided on the T3's.

I actually have a ton of pics that I took while I was in Florida. I've only uploaded the one above at the moment. I might work on the resize and upload of them this weekend.

There's plenty more to come. I just ordered the C-One underpanel, C-One underbraces, C-One rear 3-point strut, and a C-One oil cap through KamiSpeed. After that I'm saving up my cash for a new body kit, coilovers, a set of Brides, and possibly the Brashboy lip spoiler. What order those will come in, I have no idea. :D
