A Rock Cracked My Window!!!!!!!!!!!

ugh...nothing good is happening today....first of all this whole phone bill crap ..posted in the OT forum then on my way to SD to meet up with Bat...a big rock hits my front window and makes a huge ass crack in it....damn...this really sux....is there ne way i can fix it without replacing the whole thing?

it's pretty much gonna have to get replaced buddy, but if you want a place that gives a good price try here. DOCTOR AUTO GLASS at 626 447 8288 or 800 929 6228. i went here when something hit the wind shield of my mustang coming back from palms springs and my throwout bearing went out that same night once i got back on the freeway from the glass getting broken... wasn't a good night for me....... got rid of the car for my celi...

anyway yea give'em a call and get a price, they charged under$150 for the glass and install. other places wanted over $225. hope it helps out. and sorry to hear about the incident

I think there are some glass repair places that can fix new cracks smaller than 6". Check the phone book.

If your window was cracked in an area of the freeway that has construction going on, Call CalTrans and you can file a report and they maybe able to pay for the repair of your windshield.
