I've got H&Rs on my cel and I swear it rides a lot lower that 1.3" below stock, I scrape on every entrance no matter how slow I go....I'm getting real tired of constantly touching up the bumper. Could bad shocks made the cel ride lower? The ride is pretty ruff.

They wouldn't affect it unless their totally blown out. Even then the only thing you would notice is its "boingy" as hell. The shocks are just there to retard the movement of the springs, so maybes its the springs that are going bad, how long have you had them? They settle over time and get larger drop.

I have H and R on my DSM and it sags on one side. Bite the bullet and get a new set, Try not to get another cheap set.

Yeah, I'm going with some TRDs for now, good stance and ride quality and won't rip my bumper off. Last time I have H&Rs on my cel or any of my cars.
you should try getting some eibach sportline springs. i have them on my celi. gives it a nice stance and ride quality is great. plus you cant go wrong with eibach.

but there is a big diffrence in comfort. If dont mind a firmer ride, then these are for you. You'll get great handling out of them. IMO in general the springs are great, they do need to be paired with stiffer shocks eventually.
