my co-worker was tellin me about this kid he met at a Mohegan Sun car meet this past weekend. now mind you i wasnt there so i dont kno how truthful this kid he met was being.
ok he told me about this kid with the only celica there, and the kid said it was the APR Celica which he bought off ebay, sure it had the wide body kit and the rim witht he gigantic off-set and deep dish, and the paint job, and the SC, but as for the other non-noticeable parts APR said they put in there, werent in there. now i dont kno if APR took them out before the sale. my co-worker told me that the car wont even turn properly. and aparently this kid was a poser cuz he told my co-worker he had done most of the work after he bought the car as is from APR. he had a roll cage that wasnt even welded in, just bolted in.
i dont kno if it was THE APR Celica, but im gonna try and go to another meet up there and see if he will be there.
what do u guys think? did APR really sell the car off Ebay??

it was!!! he lives righ near mohegan sun. i was at a meet with him earlier this year in CT, we drove around the area by the mohegan sun, etc. He did buy it from APR from california and i do believe he found it on ebay listed by them.

long story short, ur friend is right.

This guy Action (I believe his name is Chris) is cool. I bought CF hood of him. He delivered it to my home :) That was very nice of him.

lol... yea he PMed me asking if I want to buy his rollcage. I think he's parting out the car.

hes parting out certain parts, because he is now making it to be known as "his celica" instead of "hey thats the apr celica".

I think thats kinda neat how he is trying to make it his own...but i do think certain cars were made that way for a reason...why not just build your own celica from scratch?

He's a member on this board and he's actually has the original Racing Hart wheels from the APR Celica for sale.

It's nice he's making the changes, making it more " his " car rather then being known as APRs.
