View Full Version : What's a good trany fluid?

I'm going to take a guess at my trany problem and say its the fluid, so i'm going to change it to something better.

so what's a good fluid? what type do i need? 5w? how many? Also how do i change it? i think i know how but someone just tell me for i don't screw it up :)

it's a manual 6spd btw :)

www.teamunison.com check there, they have a how to and they suggest what kind of tranny fluid to use.

a lot of people recommend redline mt90

is the mt90 better than 75w-90 recommended in the owners manual

I use Redline MT90 and it is great. There is a noticable difference once the tranny gets warmed up.

Amsoil Series 2000 Racing Gear Oil have used it since new and is seamless.

Redline MT-90 is a 75w90 gear oil.

Don't be shocked if it is red like trans fluid.
