hey everyone, my trd leather/aluminum trd shift knob is kind of loose due to taking it out and putting it back a few times. Like it kinda wiggles around if i shift hard. I know its self threading and stuff. is there anyway to make it tight like when i first put it on??
go to a hardware department and get this plumbing tape. its like a soft, strechy plastic tape. its basically usedto close gaps when theres leaks. that should help and give you a stong hold
edit: sorry i dont know the exact name, but if you go to the plumbing section and ask for something like that, then they should know it

yeah that is the general idea it is the same thing when pipe threads get worn down or when you want and air pipe to hold pressure
yeah.. i think your suppose to wrap it going with the thread too. just wrap it over the thread as even as possible so it wont cause more problems since the TRD shift knobs thread themselves
