I'm thinking about gettin a wideband 02 meter for use with a 50 shot of nitrous just to know wats goin on. I heard the extra 02 content can throw off the lambda sensor. Is it statement accurate?

The extra O2 is exactly what you want to measure. In my experience widebands work fine with nitrous. Misfires and exhaust leaks throw widebands off.
