hmmmm, the rsx has a 5speed auto, 160hp and weights a tad more.

celica gt-s, 4speed auto/sportshift, 180hp, little lighter.

i think the celica may have a slight advantage, but it will be very close, either way.

i dont know why you care which one is faster. From what I have heard, both are terribly slow. You might as well just get the one you like and make it a show car or something, because its gonna be hard to get much performance out of either for under alot of $$$$ that would just let you buy another car anyways.

i said a RSX not a rsx type s...See I get a choice between Celica and RSX both with sportshift. And I just want to know which is faster. The RSX is a 5 speed sportshifter, while celica is 4 speed. The celica has 20 more hp, but I still think RSX is faster am I right?

just go test drive it yourself and find out....

Yeah, drive them yourself, but I can almost guarantee you that a lighter car with 20 more hp(Celica) will beat a heavier car with 20 less hp(RSX). But if you're looking for a fast car, I wouldn't go with either.

yea, probably, but I am am just trying to find out how much faster :-). The thing is I know the accelration is better on the rsx than the celica gts, which would make differences in time :-)

either way you are lookin at a 16 sec car. They are probably both within .2 seconds of eachother. Yes the GTS is lighter, but its tranny is a dog on the auto. It would probably be close. Still though, why not get a stick if you want speed? A five speed GT can beat and auto GTS, and you would pay alot less too.
