Well last night to me and wifes surprise we came down stairs to see that....the basement was flooded. The lake we live by was actually over the fence a little bit and just keept coming into the basement a little bit at a time. It was pretty crazy...Anybody else have any other troubles with flooding? Im so like pist and depressed cause all of our things are now ruined for our new apartment....and to think we were moving out next week. Man The weather sucks.

I was at my friend's shop yesterday, and the drain under one of the bays started flowing back up onto the floor. They were using those floor squeegees to keep everything from getting soaked, and eventually installed a pump to pump the water outside. There was also a leak from the back wall, since behind the shop basically turned into a lake. :chuckles:

Damn, sorry to hear that Gary. The rain sucked this weekend for sure, but thankfully my basement didn't flood. I heard it's supposed to rain on and off all week.

Really sucks alot Joe. But it sucks cause we cant get flood insurance cause we live right by the lake. I started to have a little trouble saturday with my CAI and i was barley hitting any puddles at all. It would keep jerking back and forth when shifting gears but then sunday came and it was fine. Plus on Saturday joe they said it was going to rain stop like that untill friday. But tahnkfully no rain yet. I hope we can hold out like this for the rest of the week with out rain.

Also how was the meet Saturday?

This rain is really killing my Great Adventure plans. Its the reason we didn't go back earlier this year and the reason I didn't go today. I just wanna ride Kingda Ka... :sadpace:

Don't drive though any deep puddles. I tried to stay off the road as much as possible this weekend. Oh, and here's a good tip. If you see a puddle you can't avoid (and it's not too long of a stretch) give the car some gas, and right before you drive through the puddle, push the clutch in and coast through it. Once you clear the puddle, release the clutch and drive off. The intake won't suck in air if the clutch is disengaged. Saved my ass many a time.

Yeah, I was supposed to go this past Sunday too but the weather turned me off. Since the meet is this saturday, I rescheduled the GA outing for the following Saturday. I plan to go one more time after that too before the season ends. Got make use of this season pass that I've only used once all year. :wtc:
