I've been tweaking my ignition map a bit (particularly the low-end) and it has been working pretty good. I was wondering how much everyone else has advanced timing in parts of their map.

It's nice to see others running a bit more advanced timing :)

many,

Just curious, but you're seeing 45 max knock, where in the RPM range are you seeing this? Is this under 4th gear WOT conditions? I'm actually running a bit more advance in the low/mid range with 92 octane and the max knock levels I see are under 20 under heavy load (no hard shifting to avoid any spikes to 40+). I'm really interested to see how much others have advanced timing w/ good results.

If I remember correctlly, I usually hit max knock on very hot days or when the car is heat soaked, (more often then usual). I usually get it at 4500 to 6000 rpm rang at WOT on 3rd and 4th . On occasions when shifting at redline 8500 it will flash, but I

Everyone in this thread is N/A. My turbo would go boom if I used an IGN map like that.

You should see my current map, it'd be like snap, crackle, and pop for ya ;)
