Fuel Gauge Problems

Hey guys, about 3 months ago my fuel gauge started acting wierd. It reads what ever the hell it wants to whenever it wants to. When it gets to a quarter tank, it just reads empty and never climbs back up. I thought it was due to warm climate or something, but that's not the case. My local dealership dismissed the problem as they claimed that there's nothing wrong. I'm getting sick and tired of keeping track of how many miles I have driven since I filled up the tank. Anyone else had these problems? or do you know what it may be? My car is still under warranty so I know the dealership will fix it, but they claim they have checked everything but have found nothing wrong. Please help! I have an 02 Celica GT. Thanks for your time and help

well the next closest dealership is atleast an hr drive, and with college and my current schedule I don't wanna make the trip w/o having a solid backing and understanding of why this might be happening or what may be causing it. As far as my dealership is concerned well I chewed the guy out for keeping my car for 2 days, putting 30 miles on it and not doing a damn thing to diagnose or fix the problem. So i don't wanna go back there at all cuz they really are gonna blow me off again. So any help you guys can provide, will be greatfully appreciated and valued.
